What goes into choosing a color scheme and images for a website? We chose ours to represent how we view life in general and business specifically. Here are the elements and why we selected each one.
Colors are often charged with emotional meanings. Customer Approach selected yellow, red and turquoise for the color scheme of our website.
Yellow is the color of the sun. It signifies warmth, happiness, and openness. You will always be successful when you keep a positive attitude, make yourself happy and let that happiness flow to others.
Red is a strong, fiery color. Many cultures use red when celebrating joyous occasions. Be willing to make a statement and stand out. Speak and act boldly from your heart. Others will be attracted to you like moths to a flame.
Blue is a calming color we find in water and the sky. Green is the color of living, growing things. Turquoise mixes these two colors and becomes something unique. Find the freedom and peace within yourself to follow your true calling. People will be drawn to your grace and quiet strength.
Our colors mingle harmoniously (we hope!) in a palette inspired by the beauty of the desert. Look closely in that harsh land and you will find life emerging and thriving. You simply cannot fail when you believe in yourself, believe in what you do, and adapt to your environment.
Symbols help us make connections to ideas, feelings, and relationships. Customer Approach features Kokopelli and a symbol of our own design. Kokopelli is a fertility deity worshipped since the time of the Ancient Pueblo people and the Aztec-Anasazi. He is a humpbacked flute player – a prankster, healer and storyteller who brings music into our lives. This deity also chases winter away to bring the warmth and promise of spring. Kokopelli is here to represent the birth and strengthening of ideas that lead us to success, whimsy and joy. He shows us that spring will come no matter how harsh or bleak our current winter may be.
Our own Customer Approach symbol is a smiling face with two distinct sides. Success comes from working on two aspects of our selves: knowledge and belief.
We live in a world rich with knowledge. Develop and hone your skills by learning from others. Achieve success more quickly using tools and techniques that have made others successful. Build on what others have done and on lessons from your own successes and failures.
Belief gives us the courage to act. Action moves dreams into reality. All success begins with belief. Set your picture of success in your mind. Imagine who you will be, how you will act, how others will see you. Add details and pour energy into this picture until it is a tangible, living thing within your mind. Then act: take a tiny step each day and you will be unstoppable. You will become your dreams.
Above the face is a light bulb signifying your best and brightest ideas. We live in a world filled with ideas. Great ideas come at the oddest times. Think out loud, be open to new possibilities, and learn to think out of the box to fill your life with new and wonderful ideas. Discover, examine, and develop your strongest and best ideas. Learn and put proven tools and techniques into action. Believe in yourself and your vision for the future – and you will have more success than you ever thought possible.
